The Plum City School District has been aggressively applying to many different grants and looking for discounts in order to save as much money as possible. Below are a list of grants and discounts that either were awarded or are still pending approval.
$88,354.30 Grant awarded for 6-12 student and all staff laptops and hotspots. These devices are instrumental in providing student instruction. (2023)
$50,000.00 Grant awarded by federal government for updating internet connectivity within our school district. This is a recurring grant, and due to optimizations by the district we are expected to be awarded $75,000.00 in future years. (2021)
$35,000.00 As of September 24, 2024 we received an update that we have been tentatively selected for a propane bus grant, which would cover $35,000.00 for a new bus. (2024)
$15,925.02 Discounts given for SMART Board purchases throughout the district. (2019)
$4,276.00 Grant awarded by the state that was used to purchase cases for our students’ laptops, to protect the investment of the first grant. (2020)
$3,460.00 Discounts given for purchasing audio technology equipment before the start of the pandemic. (2022)
